Dr Matthew Peverelle - Gastroenterologist and Hepatologist based in various locations across Melbourne.

I am a gastroenterologist and hepatologist committed to providing thorough, compassionate, and evidence-based care.

I completed my advanced training in gastroenterology at Monash Health and Austin Health, as well as at the Victorian Liver Transplant Unit. I then undertook a hepatology fellowship at King’s College Hospital in London, United Kingdom.

I am trained in FibroScan and have a strong research background in liver disease and inflammatory bowel disease. My approach is centred on delivering personalised care, ensuring each patient feels informed, supported, and confident in their treatment plan.
